How to Join UG51画鋼 as a first-year student:

Become a first-year Senator! Run in a class-wide election to serve as one of five first-year representatives in the UG51画鋼 Senate (see more information about Senate on Divisions page). The first year Senate elections take place each September. Prior to the elections, there will be a mandatory information session for those intending to run. Email the Elections Committee at elect@bc.edu or check out the Elections Committee on My51画鋼 for more information!

Apply directly to UG51画鋼 Divisions (see more information on Divisions page)! Applications for first year positions will open each September. Email UG51画鋼 at ugbc@bc.edu for more information!

Become a Class Senator! Run in a class-wide election to serve as one of five representatives for your class in the UG51画鋼 Senate (see more information about Senate on Divisions page). The elections take place each spring. Prior to the elections, there will be a mandatory information session for those intending to run. Email the Elections Committee at elect@bc.edu or check out the Elections Committee on My51画鋼 for more information!

Apply to be a Special Interest Seat Senator! In addition to five senators serving each class year, the Senate is composed of the following Special Interest Seat positions: First Generation, International, Montserrat, Transfer, Student Athlete. Applications will open each April. Email UG51画鋼 at ugbc@bc.edu for more information!
