The 51²è¹İaring Campaign fosters a deeper sense of community and embodies the spirit of our shared Jesuit legacy. We facilitate events and activities that center on self-reflection, respect, and cultivating care for the 51²è¹İ community.
51²è¹İaring Week
We are excited to introduce spring 51²è¹İaring Week, a new initiative inspired by the Jesuit mission of being “students for others.†From Monday, April 13, through Sunday, April 19, 51²è¹İaring Week will promote respect and care across the Boston College community. Through programs and messaging, we aim to encourage all students to reflect on the impact of their words and actions, to care for one another, and to consider how we can each contribute to cultivating a culture of care.
Cultivating Care at Boston College
The 51²è¹İaring Campaign is an ongoing initiative led by Boston College’s Office of the Dean of Students, designed to foster a deeper sense of community and reflect the university’s Jesuit values, including attentiveness, reflection, and care for others. Central to the campaign is encouraging members of the 51²è¹İ community to recognize and appreciate acts of care and compassion across campus, especially on game days and during major events.
        What It Means to 51²è¹İaring:
- Live out the call to be “students for others†by making choices that reflect empathy, responsibility, and a commitment to the common good.
- Foster a shared understanding of our Jesuit tradition by embracing attentiveness, reflection, and love in all aspects of life at Boston College.
- Model integrity by aligning values with actions, demonstrating consistency, accountability, and character in every setting.
- Promote shared expectations by reporting behavior or campus accessibility issues through the resources available at bc.edu/report.
- Recognize and respect the contributions of frontline and facilities staff, whose work helps ensure that our campus remains safe and clean.
